San Diego Motel Invaded by Radioactive Insects

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

San Diego Motel Invaded by Radioactive Insects

San Diego, California (August 30, 2007) - Steel Web Studios is pleased to announce that pre-production has begun on " Bed Bugs from Hell ", a feature-length horror film that will combine hardcore sex scenes, live insects and splatterpunk gore.

The tale of " Bed Bugs from Hell " unfolds as a mattress full of bed bugs is exposed to mutating radiation from a mysterious source. The irradiated insects soon infest a sleazy motel and eventually venture to the neighboring town to wreak havoc.

The film is inspired by the b-movie creature features of the 50's. The title was originally conceived as a fictitious movie for a scene in Steel Web Studios' short film " Mail Order Bride ". Soon after the release of the film, fans began to request that the concept actually be made into a movie. Fans visiting the Steel Web Studios booth at the Comic-Con in San Diego were treated to a sneak preview of concept art for the film.

" Bed Bugs from Hell " will be written and directed by David Quitmeyer, the creator of the notorious erotic horror film " Slaughter Disc ". The film will be made available in both an "R" rated version and a limited edition XXX Director's Cut.

Curious individuals may visit the film's official website for more information: http://www.bedbugsfromhell.com.

Steel Web prepares Cinco de Mayo Massacre

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Steel Web prepares Cinco de Mayo Massacre

San Diego, California (May 5, 2007) - Steel Web Studios is pleased to announce that pre-production has begun on " Cinco de Mayo Massacre ", our second feature film.

The tale of " Cinco de Mayo Massacre " unfolds as a group of college students become lost in the New Mexican desert on their way to a party. They stumble across a secret Native American burial site and unwittingly disturb an ancient Aztec spirit. Hell bent on revenge due to injustices from the past, the spirit embarks on a bloodthirsty rampage through the desert.

The film was originally conceived as a fictitious title for a scene in Steel Web Studios' short film " Mail Order Bride ". Soon after the release of the film, fans began to request that the concept actually be made into a movie.

The feature film is inspired by historic events and Latino folklore from the Southwestern United States. Rather than simply exploit the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo, the film will explore some of the darker parts of Spanish/American history, such as the conquest of the indigenous people in the name of religion, while attempting to represent the controversy surrounding the holiday itself.

" Cinco de Mayo Massacre " will be written and directed by David Quitmeyer, the creator of the notorious erotic horror film " Slaughter Disc ". David was born and raised in New Mexico, so Mexican, Hispanic and Indian cultures have a heavy influence on him through out his life.

Steel Web Studios is currently seeking distributors, investors, cast and crew for " Cinco de Mayo Massacre ". Curious individuals may visit the film's website for more information: http://www.cincodemayomassacre.com/

Slaughter Disc is a post-modern erotic horror story about a porn addict who comes across an adult DVD offered for sale by a mysterious woman. The destructive cycle of pornography is closely examined in this film, which itself boasts scenes of splatter punk gore and explicit hardcore sex. The film stars Robert Williams as the porn addict and Caroline Pierce (The Fashionistas) as the enigmatic Andromeda Strange. The movie is being released straight to DVD with selected midnight screenings across the country.

While the plot of "Slaughter Disc" has been kept secret from the public, the movie continues to attract scores of followers to its website, slaughterdisc.com. ?We have over 10,000 subscribers on our mailing list since the website went live in November. People have already sent in money for the DVD and we haven?t even started to sell it yet?, said writer/director David Quitmeyer. ?We?re getting fan mail for a product people have only seen glimpses of.? HorrorWatch.com raves, ?Damn, that?s some dark disturbing stuff?. The movie is also going to be featured in upcoming issue of the popular horror magazine Fangoria, which has already run an article about the film on its website, fangoria.com. The cast and crew will be promoting "Slaughter Disc" at horror film festivals across the country and the 2005 Comic-Con in San Diego. Slaughterdisc.com will begin taking pre-sales for the DVD on March 19, 2005. Discs are scheduled to begin shipping in April. Spine Tingling Horror Film Dares to Embody Sex and Death on the Same Screen

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Spine Tingling Horror Film Dares to Embody Sex and Death on the Same Screen

San Diego, California (November 15, 2004) - Steel Web Studios is pleased to announce that production has begun on the erotic and macabre tale of "Slaughter Disc".

Mike loves porn. Unfortunately he is blinded by his addiction to XXX entertainment as it slowly eats away at every aspect of his life. One day a mysterious DVD arrives in the mail featuring a beautiful, gothic woman (Caroline Pierce, The Fashionistas). As the DVD plays, the body count starts to grow and Mike quickly realizes there is a much darker side to the world of adult entertainment.

"Most of the people who have read the script admitted that it freaked them out or gave them nightmares, then they turn around and tell me it's one of the coolest things they've ever read - even people who hate porn," said Writer/Director David Quitmeyer. "I take that as a compliment since this feature is first and foremost a serious horror film. I want it to scare the hell out of you."

Slaughter Disc is scheduled for direct to DVD release in early 2005. The Ultimate Director's Cut will be loaded with disturbing scenes of un-rated gore and XXX hardcore sex, plus bonus features such as a "behind the scenes" documentary, outtakes and a few surprises for those who are clever enough to find them.
