REDRESS is becoming a Feature Film!

It is finally official and now I want to start hyping the news:
Redress is becoming a feature length film!
As I had more time to sit and think about the story I passed it around to a few people for review. One of my friends has some ideas to add and the project pretty much exploded from there. We are still hashing out the script at this moment, but since I had already done a lot of preproduction on the film in its short form, the project is on the launch pad waiting for its tanks to get filled. Most of the cast and crew are placed; we just have a few more roles to fill once the story if flushed out some more.
The goal for now is to start filming around Mid April. I will be releasing a press release later in the month. We will have a teaser ready for the Los Angeles Fangoria Week of Horrors in late April. We hill have the film wrapped by the time Comic-Con rolls around in July.
Stay Tuned... our website is going to get busy again :-)

Carnal Morgue Vol. 1 reviewed in Rue Morgue this Month!
Hi Fans -

Just a note to let you all know that Rue Morgue ran a small review for our DVD collection "
Tales from the Carnal Morgue" this month (Issue 75). We have been fans of Rue Morgue since it was first published, so we feel very grateful whenever they publish something about us.
Run to your local newsstand and pick up a copy of Rue Morgue #75. In addition to our review, the issue features a 2008 Horror Convention and Film Festival schedule. You can bet your bones we will be appearing at a few of those....
Cheers!

Mr. Buttons Wins Best Horror Film !

Steel Web Studios is very pleased to announce that our film
Mr. Buttons has won Best Horror Film in the Open Horror Division at the
El Cajon Film and Video Festival.
This event marks the first competition festival that Mr. Buttons was accepted into and the first film award that Steel Web Studios has won.
We would like to thank all of our cast and crew who helped make the film. We would also like to thank all of the fans and cast that showed up to support the film on Saturday. We would also like to thank the people behind the Festival for putting together a fine show and for accepting our film.
It felt very rewarding to us when members of the audience and other film crews approached us throughout the day to tell us how much they enjoyed our film.
From the premiere of the film, from the buzz we received at Comic-Con, from the numerous raving reviews and from the ton of fan email we receive every day, we know in our hearts that we have created a fine independent film.
Hopefully, one day in the future, we will be able to gather some significant funding and transform Mr. Buttons in a feature-length motion picture.

Mr. Buttons Premiere
We had a fun filled St. Patricks Day with the cast and crew of Mr. Buttons as we premiered the film. Actors familiar with the pitfalls of zero-budget indies were thrilled to see that our new film didn't suffer from too many of the bugs that most other films do. It was nice to spend some time with everybody and hopefully we be able to work with all of them again in the near future.
